so i had nothing to do and decided to head home aft.

my bag was dead heavy.

and it was so humid.

i finally reached home.

unpacked my bag and WAIT A MINUTE!!

MY CAMERA CABLE WAS GONE!!!

i prolly dropped it on the library floor without realising.

DAMN DAMN DAMN!

and i was alr home!

oh well,

i hate mondays.

rushed back to sku and sure enough,

picked it up from the floor right at where we sat.

went home.

geez. how fun.

spent the rest of the day uploadin photos and stuff.

finally got it done round 4am. (!?!)

went to bed near 5 and woke up 2 hrs aft.

accompanied my mum to her check up today.

only manage to leave the hosp at 11am.

we stayed there for like 3hrs.

GAWDDDDD.

but on the bright side,

i manage to devour the whole of today's straits times and e feb issue of reader's digest.

yes, reading - brainfood for the soul.

mind u, my tummy was grumbling cos i was so darn hungry!!!!

went down to the pharmacy to grab snacks. ;)

looked around and went to popular to waste time as we wanted to have lunch at 18chefs.

they open only at 12pm.

the minute i stepped in,

i thought i smelt HAMSTERS.

many many MANY smelly hamsters.

my mum din like the stench either.

looked at the menu and tried to decide on what to eat but the smell was really overpowering.

my mum n i was discussing whether we should leave asap,

or at leave take away a mocha then leave.

i mean, it's not nice to sit down, stand up and walk out what...

so weird.

THEN I CAUGHT A GLIMSP OF SOMEBODY!!! :D

there she was,

the bone-headed mts of mine, queuing to order her food.

i gasped.

went up to canto kitchen.

oh goody.

was so full when we were done and the waitress served us dessert on the house.

really appreciate it but i was soooooooooooooooo bloated. ):

managed to get thru to tts.

and booked an emergency appt.

my bracket was loose and i had a little swollen gums. ):

went off to see dr. y aft lunch.

i saw they are really efficient. ;)

wednesday was MTS day! :D

i prolly dwelled on this before but HEY!

guess what...

i totally forgot to mention the ESCARGOTS! :D

so like,

i was with leeshen when my mum called to ask me out for lunch.

i told her i was with leeshen approachin bugis.

it went sth like this...

mum: "hello, where are u now?"

me: "i'm with leeshen now...goin to bugis soon. y?"

mum: "no la, wanted to ask you eat lunch with me..."

me: "you treat isit? haha."

mum: "ya la ya la. so ok? when u reachin bugis?"

me: "eh, u have to treat leeshen oso ok? we come in a package."

mum: "okay okay, haha..."

and blah blah blah.

so we went to bras basah jack's place.

lucky my mum alr got a table.

if not we'd wait FOREVER.

gosh.

it was just slightly after 1pm.

there was quite a lot of empty tables but the queue was like LONG.

service was BAD.

food was WORST.

i had no idea what the heck happened to jack's place.

seriously.

and no, i will nv eat there anymore.

at least not in the near future.

i mean, first was the CNY special FISH MAW SOUP.

which practically tasted like pepper, salt and hot water.

and now, the crappy soup of the day again (which tasted like salt, warm water and a lil bit of carrots.)

and the horrendous chicken.

OH AND THE GREEN PEAS.

did i tell u abt the GREEN PEAS!?!

it was YUCKYYYYYY.

it was like, green and pea-ish.

not tryin to be unreasonable,

but i m just out of words to describe it.

the dessert.

GOSH.

we were so lookin forward to dessert.

i use to love their apple crumble pie!

it always came with a lil warm custard sauce.

that day,

our apple crumble miraculously transformed into (CANNED) MIXED FRUITS crumble pie.

and the custard sauce?

my, seems like the chef mixed up the proportions of water and custard,

BIG TIME.

seriously, is the economy THAT bad?

anyways, we had ESCARGOTS too!

and i got to witness leeshen stuff her very first icky looking (but NOT icky at all) BLACK french snail into her mouth. (:

i thought escargots were really nice (but not at jack's place) but leeshen thought it was just...mediocre.

so yes, head on to walk around bugis aft lunch.

we went straight to the 2nd floor cos we really couldnt take the heat.

i mean, SINGAPORE! would it kill to bring a lil winter in here!?

so she wanted to find her stupid vest that she couldnt show me visually, as well as describe verbally. so we din find it in the end.

started to get squishy with all the jus-ended-sku sec sku ppl.

went down to the 1st and OMG PEEEE-EWWWWW!!!

i have no idea why bugis village/street always smells of crap.

like, really, a variety of CRAP.

couldnt find cheers and that shop located next to cheers,

we headed back to parco.

looked around and headed over to shaw.

daniel came just in time and since tom's palette was packed,

we headed to....

i got a YELLOW shirt!

okay, so then we had ice cream,

and headed over to mr. tea for some games.

and the rest is history.

initially, we wanted to meet up early to go for a phototaking trip.

but since the 2 of us stayed up late talkin abt random stuff till late at night,

we both overslept.

so we woke up late.

and met late.

and made it just in time for the last ducktours trip with 30 mins to spare.

slacked around at suntec.

went over to bakerzin and got a slice of COOKIES & CREAM CHEESECAKE!

it was like melting,

so we started playing,

then we went on to play wii.

which we all sucked at.

we all played tennis and yes, leeshen still sucked at it.

HAHA.

then came boxing.

OMFG was it tiring!!

and stupid daniel kept dancing around whenever he won.

if only that character could jump,

he'd be prancing around.

lastly golf, which got really boring in the end.

FINALLY,

we played COOKING MAMA!

haha! YAY!

use to play it on nds and it was so easy peasy.

like, i could break the records everytime.

and it was so easy to master.

but wait till you try it on wii,

with low battery levels on remotes and really aching arms.

haha.

but over and all,

i'd say cooking mama was really fun.

especially when u're play with ur fren. (:

u're go crazy screaming ur head off wonderin how the heck do u cut the carrot or butter the pan.

and u'd laugh like mad when u finally found out how and realise how dumb u'd have looked.

toastmasters speech contest at changi tampines.

i was told that i was the only one going.

it would be such a bore. ):

but since i promised, i had no choice but to turn up.

waiyew called me in the morning and it was really nice of him to volunteer to accompany me during the contest.

i was elated. (:

but then again,

no point gettin all hopes high when it didnt happen anyway. ):

but oh well, couldnt blame him too...

he had tsd meeting suddenly.

thank god hali turned up. ((:

getting there was such a pain.

it was at 7pm,

n i was alr running late by 6:30.

squeezin into the bus with a bunch of other smelly sec sku kids really made me cranky.

THEY ARE REALLY SMELLY!!!

like OMG.

and i was surrounded with them.

their bags.

THEIR BAGS!

all so big, bulky and filled with ROCKS!

and worst,

there were this grp of ncc cadets.

OH GOSH, THEIR STINK MAKES ME GAG.

they almost knocked my eyes out.

so glad i finally got of that stinking bus, literally, and went off to changi tamp cc.

and FINALLY, one nice aunty knew the way and offered to bring me there since she lived near it.

really thought our prez had a chance in winning.

BUT, we came in 1st runner up for TABLE TOPICS CONTEST!

our very 1st trophy in ANY speech contest! :D

there was this speaker who told a story in ancient china, and everyone bursted into laughters when he said "OH MY BUDDHA!",

i thought that was pure genius! haha.

then towards the end,

every club had to send a rep to speak for the table topic.

and syed came to me and said "hey, later they call tp u go up k? pls pls pls!!"

and i was like "NOOOOOOOOO! *shrieks* NO NO NO NO NO NO NO *sounded like a machine gun* NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! *now bringing in russells peters* NO NO PLEASE NO NO PLEASE OMG NO PLEASE NOOOOOO!"

i wasnt tryin to be funny but i really din wanna go.

one, i was the youngest in the whole darn room being only 17 goin on 18 in more than 6mths.

everyone, almost 85% of the ppl present were above 30.

i mean, it's so weird talkin to a bunch of older ppl who meant business when it comes so speaking and they are like, really PRO and talking.

i know i can do impromtu very well.

only when it comes to talk bullshit. (haha!)

but if i have to do it formally, i fret.

but still, i went up...

and talked.

and tried to be funny like i was advised.

sure, i got quite a bit of laughter goin on in the room.

yes, i'm happy with that but i also used A LOT of filler.

i have a BIG prob.

i talk with fillers as tho they come free.

well, yea, they ARE free but i should really cut back on those.

Running dry on the wishing well;

weirdest things happen.

really, they do.

last night,

i went to bed round 2.

before i knocked out,

i got 2 smses.

TELKOMSEL warmly welcomed me to INDONESIA.

and they gave me a 50% discount offer for sms-ing my friends using telkomsel.

i had no idea why i was in indonesia at 2am ytd.

i was jus layin in my bed for christ sake.

and today,

my dad jus decided to give me a big hug.

and a peck on my cheeks.

no idea what got into him or what he was up to...

i mean, we havent been talkin since last november.

A hell lot better

yea, we are one heck of a smart race.

we came up with technology and are constantly improving on it.

has been givin me TONNES of problems since the last time i can recall.

is really a piece of dumbshit that i always threaten to destroy.

my sim card gave way.

1st the phone dies and i can no longer switch it on.

switched to a spare phone and now the sim card can no longer be detected.

this stinks.

it's like both the phone and the sim card was set out to ruin my life.

all in the name of revenge for all the times i whacked against somewhere.

caught marley and me (like, FINALLY. haha.) with daniel today.

Surprise, surprise. i got a B for percomm. like, wow. hahaha.
Really thought i'd fail mmp cos i din really contribute much on the forums and stuff.
yet it did better that journalism.
Journalism, another shocker.
i expected nothing more than a D cos i F-ed my midterm.
but then again, i got a C.
good for me. (:

for all 3 assignments, i got D, D, B.
thought i could get like at least a C-.
but noooooooooo.
i got a miserable D.
$1400 cammy, devlopment of photos and mounting and cab fares and all other misc expenditures.

for a final perk-me-up,
i saw my GPA.
i got 2.20
which is like a 0.01 improvement from last sem.
WOW.
all these hard work for 0.01.
(i really mugged hardly than last sem, u know.)

It's raining.
